TROPICAL LODGE

Tropical feel outfit on a gloomy weather? Ironic! My original plan for this look is a sunny, against the light photo. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate but it's okay because the photos looked good.
The outfit was inspired by Archie's spoiled and rich love interest, Veronica Lodge. I can't find the digest magazine where I saw this inspiration but it was originally white and green instead of black. I just love Ronnie's sense of style and her love for fashion... I mean shopping and spending loads of money! Well, I'm not like that. LOL.
I wore this before at Erick's graduation day. I just modified it with a hat and a gold necklace.

Jumpsuit: From Bangkok
Tassel Snakeskin Bag: H&M
Pumps: FIOREL
I am not too late for the stripes trend last summer. Specifically this jumpsuit, it made my appear longer. So when you're petite, try wearing high-waisted pants plus nude pumps and you're good to go. Tee hee!

Gold Flock

THIS=LOVE
I am a fan.

Yes, it is a studio shot! It's not usual to take blog photos in a studio but, I took advantage of our shoot for my next collection in Strings. Watch out for it!
This=love is a song by The Script. I am listening to that song right now while typing this. Can't think of any title, my apologies.
Tried to mix maroon and pink! An elegant color infused with pastel to look playful yet polished.

Top: Thrifted
Shoes: Crossings

I love the details of my long-sleeved polo, the golden bird and lock. My sister bought it from a thrifted store, and borrowed it from her. Hehe! Plus, it has a shoulder padding! I love it because it makes my figure look great? Haha!

Thrift Challenge 1: My First Ukay

S.O.S.
Save Our Style
You don't have to spend lots of money if you can dress creatively!

My Blog Thrift Challenge! First stop: Ukay-Ukay (Thrift Shop)

This is my first time to buy from Ukay-Ukay (Thrift Shop). My friends are telling me that I should try ukay and I always say no. I don't want to wear clothes used by some random girl I didn't know. But, my perspective was changed! We stopped by at Quezon Avenue to buy some pizza and we saw this ukay store right beside it. My sister and I checked them out and we were amazed of the stuff that they're selling! Most are from China, some are from Europe.
Luckily, these items I bought still have a price tag! Yes, they aren't pre-loved by some girls. You just have to be patient if you want to see good finds like these. Want to know the prices? Read further. :-)
Paisley top for only 40php
Red leather skirt for only 20php
Necklace for only 100php (Yes, a bit expensive because it's from Divi)

Total: 170php ($4.06). Yehey! Plus, they still all have a price tag!
Mocha leopard wedges from So! F.A.B.
Because I am not yet ready to buy shoes from ukay! Haha.

Heat of the Moment

SCORCHING SUN
Hello, friends! I'm back!

I entitled this "Heat of the Moment" not because of Miami Heat, but because of Supernatural's S3 Episode 11: Mystery Spot, wherein the song is repeatedly playing over and over. Oh myyy Sam and Dean!! *fangirling*. Okay, let's go back to my blog.

Thank God for the weekend! I wore this outfit on the way to Subic with the family. Checked in at Moonbay Marina and enjoyed our stay of course. What a relaxing getaway, free from stress!
I bought a new tripod! Makes blogging easier. Haha.
Turquoise and gold necklace from Greenhills.
White cropped crochet top from The Ramp
Printed tropical skirt from H&M.
