BLUE HAZE

Redondo Beach, CA

Hurray! My first blog post about my USA trip! Though my stay in LA is a bit busy, I make sure that I take outfit photos. I need to take advantage of the cold, breezy weather (how is it connected to a photo) and beautiful sceneries (this is only shot at Lawndale neighborhood) Well, whatever.
I am free to wear whatever I want in LA because I notice that people don't care. But I opt to wear casual clothes because it's comfortable to move especially when you go shopping to Costco and Target (my favorite).
This was taken at 7 in the evening but the sun is still out. More time to go out, more time to take outfit shots! Maybe we should practice daylight saving in our country.
YSL Top: Strings Manila SOON!
Jeans: Topshop
Crochet Cardigan: Forever 21

Don't Let The Streets Fool You

I am so in love with street style lately! Time to let go of my usual too-feminine fashion. I collected these photos from my favorite fashion inspirations online.
What I like about this top is obviously, because of the cut-outs at the back. I'm not used in wearing this kind of a top but I'll give it a try!
It is rainy season here in the Philippines but still the weather is not as cold like in the Western countries. Sweaters are on the top of my list! This one has a unique see-through design that won't make you feel all covered up.
Classy but not trashy. I rephrase it by this look: Trashy yet classy.
Told you, I love sweaters. But this one is cropped! I am totally in love with it! Gahhhhhd. I wish I live in a cold place!
Festival look! I love the cropped top here, simple and very casual.
The print says it all. Though I don't understand it's meaning, it will be a loud statement to your style.

RIOT!

I don't know why I named it RIOT! Maybe because I always remember Hayley Williams whenever I wear a beanie or a bonnet.
This is indeed one of my favorite street-style look! I always want to achieve a look that is not trendy but still with style.
I want to unleash my inner youth (at the age of 21? Yes, I'm still young lol) through street-style with the influence of mainstream fashion, but not following the local trends.
Tank Top: H&M

TROPICAL LODGE

Tropical feel outfit on a gloomy weather? Ironic! My original plan for this look is a sunny, against the light photo. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate but it's okay because the photos looked good.
The outfit was inspired by Archie's spoiled and rich love interest, Veronica Lodge. I can't find the digest magazine where I saw this inspiration but it was originally white and green instead of black. I just love Ronnie's sense of style and her love for fashion... I mean shopping and spending loads of money! Well, I'm not like that. LOL.
I wore this before at Erick's graduation day. I just modified it with a hat and a gold necklace.

Jumpsuit: From Bangkok
Tassel Snakeskin Bag: H&M
Pumps: FIOREL
I am not too late for the stripes trend last summer. Specifically this jumpsuit, it made my appear longer. So when you're petite, try wearing high-waisted pants plus nude pumps and you're good to go. Tee hee!

SUNSET

LET'S GO TO THE PARK

You cannot see me in this shot, but I love it! My inspiration for the title of this blog post plus John Legend's song, PDA :) It has nothing to do with public display of affection though, only the first line of the chorus because I love strolling at BGC. You don't get what I'm saying? Haha well, whatever.
From an ornate top, to casual bottoms. I was in a hurry that time so I just grabbed what I first saw and go. I mixed black and gold velvet top with denim shorts and basketball shoes. I thought it will look bad but, voila! I actually liked it.
Round glitter velvet top: Strings Manila (SOON!)
Criss-cross denim shorts: Strings Manila
My favorite LBJ9 Summit Lake Hornets!
You can always look fabulous and stylish with contentment.
Fashion is not always about "tiis-ganda" for me. Do not sacrifice a little comfort for fashion. :-)

MONOCHROME MORNINGS

BREAKFAST AT THE ROOFTOP

Excuse my morning face! I always wanted to be a morning person, smell the morning breeze and the relaxing aroma of coffee, but I always end up waking up late. Boo! Except for the days when I have to like during photo shoots. Of course, staying up late is not an acceptable excuse, yikes! One more thing I love about mornings is you are in your most natural look, looking fresh, no hassle.

I wore a teal on teal (which is my favorite) outfit on the way to our shoot at Bottega Studio in Katipunan. It was an early morning shoot that's why I don't have much time to fix myself and to put make-up on. I asked my friend, Kristin to take my outfit shots because my blog was outdated! Waaaa.
Lace top: Forever 21
Skater Shorts: Monkee Business
Sandals: CLN

Awkward poses again. Haha!
Used black and gold arm candies for a contrast to the monochrome look.

Hearts and Desserts Day

VALENTINES DAY

It's the time of the year again, when the roses are are costly, chocolates are two sweet and love notes are too deep. Let us simply say that, love is in the air. What more could you ask for? But, who says you can't give flowers to your mom? Who says you can't spend the day with your friends? This special day is about showing your love to anyone dear to you and to the greatest love of all, Jesus. So, to all the single people out there, don't worry, it will come to you in God's perfect timing.

My Valentines Day outfit! I plan to go girly with a blithe attitude so I can move freely all day long. He was only wearing his school uniform because he don't have time to go home to change, awww busy guy! We spent our day at Katipunan instead of going to the malls because we are sure it was jam-packed.

But before our date, READ THIS FIRST!!

He gave me this über delightful cake around one in the afternoon yesterday. It was indeed a surprise because I was at home, still not taking a shower, wearing my old pj's plus I had moisturizer on my face! Wahhh! It's not obvious that I'm not ready, eh? *insert sarcastic crying laugh here*

But of course, I appreciate his effort! He knows that I love desserts so much that he chose to give me this instead of the usual bouquet. He is sweet and lovely! Okay, enough for the cheesy words. Lol! <3

White Chocolate Truffle Berry from Banapple! :3

He is my photographer for that day. This was taken at the bridge from Regis Center to Ateneo. Haha!
I look small because he's taking the photo from above, for he is tall. Okay. :(

Dress: Zara
Bag and Watch : Michael Kors
Necklace: Forever 21
Sneakers: H&M

Wow, blurred!

He loves this photo! <3 Kasi daw red-head.

I'm wearing the necklace my friend, Trina gave me. Hihi :)

Bon Chon kids forever! Haha. He doesn't want his photo taken. Haha!
