STAINED GLASS

BACK TO THE FUTURE

I admit, I've been lazy to update my blog. I even skipped my first anniversary in the blogosphere. I've been busy, but I know it's not an excuse. I miss posting and sharing my outfit shots, I miss everything about my blog. Now, I'm back and I'm hoping to share more of my style.
This is actually a Strings Manila outfit! It is for my new collection of bandage skirts. Watch out for it!
The soft denim is really comfortable to wear, plus it has little studded details to make it look more chic. Pair it with a bandage skirt and you're good to go!
Studded vest: Strings Manila
Bandage Skirt: Strings Manila
Sandals: Divided by H&M
I love everything about the details of this bandage skirt. <3 It's like a stained glass in a cathedral, very beautiful and enchanting.

MONOCHROME MORNINGS

BREAKFAST AT THE ROOFTOP

Excuse my morning face! I always wanted to be a morning person, smell the morning breeze and the relaxing aroma of coffee, but I always end up waking up late. Boo! Except for the days when I have to like during photo shoots. Of course, staying up late is not an acceptable excuse, yikes! One more thing I love about mornings is you are in your most natural look, looking fresh, no hassle.

I wore a teal on teal (which is my favorite) outfit on the way to our shoot at Bottega Studio in Katipunan. It was an early morning shoot that's why I don't have much time to fix myself and to put make-up on. I asked my friend, Kristin to take my outfit shots because my blog was outdated! Waaaa.
Lace top: Forever 21
Skater Shorts: Monkee Business
Sandals: CLN

Awkward poses again. Haha!
Used black and gold arm candies for a contrast to the monochrome look.

Hearts and Desserts Day

VALENTINES DAY

It's the time of the year again, when the roses are are costly, chocolates are two sweet and love notes are too deep. Let us simply say that, love is in the air. What more could you ask for? But, who says you can't give flowers to your mom? Who says you can't spend the day with your friends? This special day is about showing your love to anyone dear to you and to the greatest love of all, Jesus. So, to all the single people out there, don't worry, it will come to you in God's perfect timing.

My Valentines Day outfit! I plan to go girly with a blithe attitude so I can move freely all day long. He was only wearing his school uniform because he don't have time to go home to change, awww busy guy! We spent our day at Katipunan instead of going to the malls because we are sure it was jam-packed.

But before our date, READ THIS FIRST!!

He gave me this über delightful cake around one in the afternoon yesterday. It was indeed a surprise because I was at home, still not taking a shower, wearing my old pj's plus I had moisturizer on my face! Wahhh! It's not obvious that I'm not ready, eh? *insert sarcastic crying laugh here*

But of course, I appreciate his effort! He knows that I love desserts so much that he chose to give me this instead of the usual bouquet. He is sweet and lovely! Okay, enough for the cheesy words. Lol! <3

White Chocolate Truffle Berry from Banapple! :3

He is my photographer for that day. This was taken at the bridge from Regis Center to Ateneo. Haha!
I look small because he's taking the photo from above, for he is tall. Okay. :(

Wow, blurred!

He loves this photo! <3 Kasi daw red-head.

I'm wearing the necklace my friend, Trina gave me. Hihi :)

LA vs. Boston

LEADING EDGE

Swag? I got recently bored with some fashion trends so I tried to experiment a look with a hip-hop feel. Wore this outfit last December 28 for our Christmas Party with high school friends in Antipolo. I thought about the cold weather so I was all covered up.

I have 3 inspirations for this one: First, the Kaleidoscope World Movie, a dance hip-hop film inspired by the music of the great Francis M. Second, is my new style icon, Juliett K. I love her unique sense of style because it's always new to my eyes. Third, is my friend Sef Quemado because he once wore the same outfit as mine and he managed to pull it off!
Snapback Cap: 59Fifty New Era
Sweatshirt: Forever 21
Jeans: Forever 21
Creepers: So! Fab
Thanks to Erick for giving me a cute, pastel snapback cap! I'm so loving it right now. :)
My friend, Topher Tigno told me to have a signature blogger pose, so he invented this "Side Plank Pose" of mine. Haha!

Grape Sky

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I broke the tradition! It is not always about wearing a new elegant dress on Christmas day, it is something to be thankful for, and to celebrate the birthday of Jesus without burning your pockets. Simple yet stylish is my look for His day. Well, I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas!

I opt to wear pants and a tank top because I want to be comfortable on that day. My main motif is purple and gold. The top is photographic printed with the sky, so I named it Grape Sky. (Nyaha)
Top: H&M
Pants: Topshop
Shoes: So! FAB
Looking down on the ground. You're not a fashion blogger if you don't do this mainstream pose. Haha!

Accessories: Forever 21
Bag: Balenciaga

Bulletproof

LET'S DO THE SQUARE MEAL

Wore this last December 16 in our fun family Christmas party at Fontana Leisure Parks. Except for the JC's of course, I just wore it for the sake of my blog. Lol!
Military trend has come back around every season but now, it is here to stay for long. From runways to RTW shops, this trend is quite strong. What I love about this trend is the neutral colors and its edgy, structured details. Also the "oomph" factor that it brings to any plain outfit.

Camouflage vest: Strings Manila
Denim shorts: Topshop
Gold watch: Michael Kors
Boots: Jeffrey Campbell
Look at the spike details. This time baby, I'll be bulletproof!

STUDDED DAY

Finally, after how many years, a new blog post was born! Haha. Sorry for being such a lazy blogger. No not lazy, busy. Anyway, I was lucky to have my outfit post last week during our break time while shooting the Kaleidoscope World Movie.  I am one of the wardrobe stylists, together with Kristin Cornejo and Karen Umaly. Will blog about it soon!

This what happens when the hair and make-up team gets bored! Missy Rivera fixed my hair and did my make-up together with Nikki Betos. That's how we release our stress during the shoot. Haha! They called it as a "Hippie-JL Shoot" JL means John Lennon, well the sunnies explains it all.

Studded top: Strings Manila
Shorts: by Yours Truly :)
Eyewear: John Lennon Shades
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell Lita
Sorry for the awkward poses. :p
