BLUE HAZE

Redondo Beach, CA

Hurray! My first blog post about my USA trip! Though my stay in LA is a bit busy, I make sure that I take outfit photos. I need to take advantage of the cold, breezy weather (how is it connected to a photo) and beautiful sceneries (this is only shot at Lawndale neighborhood) Well, whatever.
I am free to wear whatever I want in LA because I notice that people don't care. But I opt to wear casual clothes because it's comfortable to move especially when you go shopping to Costco and Target (my favorite).
This was taken at 7 in the evening but the sun is still out. More time to go out, more time to take outfit shots! Maybe we should practice daylight saving in our country.

MONOCHROME MORNINGS

BREAKFAST AT THE ROOFTOP

Excuse my morning face! I always wanted to be a morning person, smell the morning breeze and the relaxing aroma of coffee, but I always end up waking up late. Boo! Except for the days when I have to like during photo shoots. Of course, staying up late is not an acceptable excuse, yikes! One more thing I love about mornings is you are in your most natural look, looking fresh, no hassle.

I wore a teal on teal (which is my favorite) outfit on the way to our shoot at Bottega Studio in Katipunan. It was an early morning shoot that's why I don't have much time to fix myself and to put make-up on. I asked my friend, Kristin to take my outfit shots because my blog was outdated! Waaaa.
Lace top: Forever 21
Skater Shorts: Monkee Business
Sandals: CLN

Awkward poses again. Haha!
Used black and gold arm candies for a contrast to the monochrome look.

Hearts and Desserts Day

VALENTINES DAY

It's the time of the year again, when the roses are are costly, chocolates are two sweet and love notes are too deep. Let us simply say that, love is in the air. What more could you ask for? But, who says you can't give flowers to your mom? Who says you can't spend the day with your friends? This special day is about showing your love to anyone dear to you and to the greatest love of all, Jesus. So, to all the single people out there, don't worry, it will come to you in God's perfect timing.

My Valentines Day outfit! I plan to go girly with a blithe attitude so I can move freely all day long. He was only wearing his school uniform because he don't have time to go home to change, awww busy guy! We spent our day at Katipunan instead of going to the malls because we are sure it was jam-packed.

But before our date, READ THIS FIRST!!

He gave me this über delightful cake around one in the afternoon yesterday. It was indeed a surprise because I was at home, still not taking a shower, wearing my old pj's plus I had moisturizer on my face! Wahhh! It's not obvious that I'm not ready, eh? *insert sarcastic crying laugh here*

But of course, I appreciate his effort! He knows that I love desserts so much that he chose to give me this instead of the usual bouquet. He is sweet and lovely! Okay, enough for the cheesy words. Lol! <3

White Chocolate Truffle Berry from Banapple! :3

He is my photographer for that day. This was taken at the bridge from Regis Center to Ateneo. Haha!
I look small because he's taking the photo from above, for he is tall. Okay. :(

Dress: Zara
Bag and Watch : Michael Kors
Necklace: Forever 21
Sneakers: H&M

Wow, blurred!

He loves this photo! <3 Kasi daw red-head.

I'm wearing the necklace my friend, Trina gave me. Hihi :)

Bon Chon kids forever! Haha. He doesn't want his photo taken. Haha!

LA vs. Boston

LEADING EDGE

Swag? I got recently bored with some fashion trends so I tried to experiment a look with a hip-hop feel. Wore this outfit last December 28 for our Christmas Party with high school friends in Antipolo. I thought about the cold weather so I was all covered up.

I have 3 inspirations for this one: First, the Kaleidoscope World Movie, a dance hip-hop film inspired by the music of the great Francis M. Second, is my new style icon, Juliett K. I love her unique sense of style because it's always new to my eyes. Third, is my friend Sef Quemado because he once wore the same outfit as mine and he managed to pull it off!
Snapback Cap: 59Fifty New Era
Sweatshirt: Forever 21
Jeans: Forever 21
Creepers: So! Fab
Thanks to Erick for giving me a cute, pastel snapback cap! I'm so loving it right now. :)
My friend, Topher Tigno told me to have a signature blogger pose, so he invented this "Side Plank Pose" of mine. Haha!

Grape Sky

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I broke the tradition! It is not always about wearing a new elegant dress on Christmas day, it is something to be thankful for, and to celebrate the birthday of Jesus without burning your pockets. Simple yet stylish is my look for His day. Well, I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas!

I opt to wear pants and a tank top because I want to be comfortable on that day. My main motif is purple and gold. The top is photographic printed with the sky, so I named it Grape Sky. (Nyaha)
Top: H&M
Pants: Topshop
Shoes: So! FAB
Looking down on the ground. You're not a fashion blogger if you don't do this mainstream pose. Haha!
Gold watch: Michael Kors
Accessories: Forever 21
Bag: Balenciaga

Tembeling Road

IN THIS CITY
Singapore, Singapore

I'm so sorry for being such a "once-in-a-blue moon" blogger. I've been busy with my shop and my freelance work as a stylist in an upcoming indie film. I will make up to my blog posts, I promise!

East Coast of Singapore! I love that place. Everyone there is laid back and having an easy living. It is safe, transportation is really enjoying and I want to live there!

This is actually for my online shop's, Strings Manila look book. But hey, I have a blog to promote it so why not? I was a fan of tribal print clothing since last year until it has spread out to more Pinay fashionistas today.

SECOND TIME
SLH & BKK Part Two

Finally, I was able to take outfit shots at Bangkok!
This time, I went with my sister Chen and boyfriend, Erick. I will post our travel photos soon!

This photo was taken at Pratunam, perfect for all shoppers!
I am wearing my favorite sneakers again! I've been a fan of basketball shoes ever since Erek gave me a pair of these. They are very comfortable and you can wear it with any casual outfit especially if you want to look carefree and playful.

And... thank God my feet didn't hurt after long, long walks because of these!

I know. I gained few pounds because of those delightful Thai food. I can't get enough of them.
I don't have time to fix my hair. :p
