WHAT I NOTICED IN THE RUNWAY
FALL 2012
A segue to my outfit posts!
It took me several hours to do this.
I was asked by a local fashion retail brand to do a fashion forecast for this coming season as an assignment to test if I can really foresee the upcoming trends. So I browsed through my trusty website and viewed some slideshows from international designers' collection for Fall 2012. Also, thanks to Ms. Angela Alarcon, Fashion Editor of Mega Magazine for giving me some tips. :-)
My personal favorites for this season are Dolce and Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, Stella McCartney and of course, Versace.
These are just what I noticed with all the designers' collection. It may be or may not be in trend this season. :-)

I was surprised by Bright Chartreuse and Tangerine Tango. Really?
This is my favorite upcoming trend because I am really sure of this! I love to see the intricate designs of the richly-woven decorative fabrics especially in gold.
This caught my attention because I'm thinking of how the retail stores turn them into their own RTW. Can't wait!
Cheers to red velvet and wine! Well, the mood of the colors are perfect for the rainy season in the Philippines starting from July.
Say goodbye to animal prints, and welcome back faux fur! Whites and colored fur adds excitement to the trend.
The opposite of the opulent Baroque era. There's still something beautiful in a declining state of style.

Great post, my dear: excellent choices! This trends will all be very fashionable this fall/winter. My favorite is baroque style, it's so refined and elegant! Other trends that will see next year, and that I really like, are Neo-Victorian and Composé style.

ReplyDeleteThe tangerine tango was named the color of the year by Pantone so I guess it's sticking around for fall! That olympian blue is such a gorgeous shade :)
